Meet Dr. Marvin Price
Dr. Marvin Price was the founder Sunrise Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. For more than 30 years, he cared for patients in the same Massapequa Park location. He was a board-certified periodontist with specialized training in regenerative therapies and implant dentistry. Dr. Price was voted “Top Dentist/Periodontist” by Long Island PULSE magazine for 5 consecutive years (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017) and one of “America’s Top Dentists” in 2010
Dr. Marvin Price was Board Certified by the American Board of Periodontology in April 1991. In 2009, Dr. Price was awarded Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Price received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1976. Dr. Price received his D.D.S. with honors from New York University College of Dentistry in 1980. He completed an internship in General Dentistry at Albert Einstein College of Medicine & Jacobi Hospital. Returning to NYU, he then completed the postgraduate specialty program in Periodontics in 1983. Dr. Price purchased an existing practice in Massapequa Park in 1986 where he served his community for 34 years.
Dr. Marvin Price was highly involved in dental organizations to provide leading-edge care. For two years, he served as president of the Long Island Academy of Periodontists. He was also the Founder and Director of the Sunrise Seminars Dental Study Club, a leading source of continuing dental education for his referring doctors and the dental community at large. He was member of the American Academy of Periodontology; a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology; American Dental Association; Northeastern Society of Periodontists; Nassau County Dental Society and the Omega Chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society.
Dr. Price leaves behind a legacy of phenomenal dental care that still resonates with every patient that comes through our doors.
